can i just talk about leigh bardugo like,,, this QUEEN has written so many A+ books with diverse and well developed characters with BREATHTAKING lines and satisfying ends and thrill and drama and MAGIC!! the whole universe she created (herself!! how!!) is so unique and powerful with its historical narratives and wowwwww i have such a author-crush and
wait fuk i forgot to mention she interacts with her fandom so well and admires what her creations have inspired like half of what i reblog comes off of her tumblr and i want to look at my fanbase with that much love if i ever make it as an author
also like the representation in her books is incredible like idk any author that has more that she does that I’ve read that much of tbh
and not just LGBT+, also race, people with disabilities, trauma survivors, addiction and abuse that’s dealt with, and more
and she deals with real issues in society and honestly, more importantly to me, she has the people affected do something to make sure the system changes and doesn’t fuck over other people like it did them
she books are just everything I want to happen here, in reality, and when shit gets rough I reread them and it gives me hope.
